Spring is right around the corner, only a few weeks away, and what better way of getting in the spirit than with a “little song”?
Here is a sonnet about the changing of the seasons for you to relax for a bit:
All life is hidden in this white season.
There is nothing, no color on the trees.
The spirit which has left is all but gone,
It has left us alone in this cold breeze.
It is a truth, though, that things tend to change,
From noon to night when dark is upon us,
Bright light dims down, dark and light rearrange.
O, and now cold will give way to hotness!
New beginnings are found around en masse,
We all get so many second chances.
White snow and ice will give way to green grass,
New life will grow on gardens and branches.
We all should learn and let go of our past,
To make room for spring and new stories vast.
