Henry Cavill is one of the most recognizable celebrities since he took the role as Superman. He is still considered Superman for many fans since he acted in “Man of Steel” in 2013. His acting portraying Superman led fans to believe that he can be a hero in everyone’s eyes, right next to Batman, Wonder Woman, Captain America, Spider-Man, etc.

Over the years he has acted as Superman and did not disappoint numerous fans with “mediocre” acting (if you can count the first scene of Justice League when Superman was involved in an Instagram video and giving out a speech as a normal bizarre Superman named Bizarro while not having blue skin), and has portrayed a respectable characterization of Superman. Henry Cavill’s career skyrocketed (literally) through the roof in how far he’s come as an actor from “Vendetta/Hotel Laguna” in 2001 to “Man of Steel” in 2013.

Despite having many successes as Superman, he wanted to take a break and come back later. His schedule was packed full of movie scheduling and personal lives, such as “The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (2015), “Night Hunter” (2018), and “Mission Impossible: Fallout” (2018).

The physique in order to keep the slim appearance of Superman as a strong adversary to villains, and unintentionally to his friends during the battle sequences for him, require Cavilll to have muscles to show Superman is still strong and honest-to-goodness in everyone’s hearts. He has to exercise and maintain healthy meals and snack to keep his physique, while managing to keep his schedule up, in order to make another movie production. With his personal life and other expectations in addition to Superman, he might not have time to be the white, red and blue character fans know and love.

Though his cape is put away, but he’s not done being Superman. Cavill in an interview reportedly said, “The cape is still in the closet. It’s still mine. I’m not going to just go to sit quietly in the dark as all this stuff is going on. I’ve not given up the role. There’s a lot I have to give for Superman yet.”

Having multiple good and bad news about his reputation about giving up being Superman, there’s still hope for him to become the Man of Steel. There are still opportunities for him to reclaim his red boots, maintaining with a bold, charismatic stance showing no fear to anyone and the heart to remain strong to those who’ve given up on themselves, Superman is that hope, flying through the soaring skies of wonder.

As for what we’ve seen from the Man himself, (both Henry and Superman) they are a match that sometimes strikes as a coincidence since George Reeves and Christopher Reeve portraying themselves as Superman with limited technology as figures worth looking up to.
