Quarantine #3 -- Hold On

(Poetry)

By Jose Yrizarry

Sitting at the window looking out… where once was … now Scattered signs of life … Not much more … and yet So much time to now start thinking Wandering … remembering … contemplating … What will come of yesterday … the hustle and bustle What will come of tomorrow … the fallout aftermath What will come of today … hopes and dreams … splintered and dashed Ever quarantined? … mind body soul? Hugs and handshakes gone! Indefinitely postponed! Say nay! Say nay to gone and JUST HOLD ON … recovery underway New perspectives to explore with new options to embrace! The planet and all therein rejuvenating Smog dissipating … easing global warming People places things … re-aligning … re-uniting … JUST HOLD ON! What good in mind and heart be left do Quarantine Deep Within Hope’s not lost … tomorrow comes … JUST HOLD ON! New dawn rising … Big changes coming … Do beware n Prepare New dawn rising … Big changes coming … Do beware n Prepare
