Walk For Freedom

Editorial

By Victoria Massa

Veterans Day was observed on Nov. 12 at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk.

The holiday is when we honor all U.S. military veterans.

It is an important holiday I think people should take seriously.

The day is when we celebrate our freedom and have high regard for all who have served and fought for our country.

I think we as a people have taken a lot for granted living in America and having the freedom that we have.

Other countries right now are suffering or are at war and don’t have the luxuries that we have.

For instance, a country that has been going through a lot of heartache and pain is

Ukraine.

Prior to the Calf Pasture event, Saoirse Wellenius said, “I am very excited to be a part of something so special and unique, I am looking forward to it and can’t wait to walk.”
